‘Ketamine Queen’ to be sentenced over Matthew Perry death

Jasveen Sangha, dubbed the “Ketamine Queen,” is set to be sentenced in a California court for her role in the death of actor Matthew Perry, having admitted to distributing ketamine resulting in death. Perry was found dead in October 2023 with high levels of ketamine, leading to an investigation that uncovered a network of suppliers. Sangha, who could face over six decades in prison, worked with a middleman, Erik Fleming, to sell 51 vials of ketamine to Perry's personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, who administered the fatal doses. After Perry's death, Sangha attempted to cover her tracks by instructing Fleming to delete messages and was later found with various illegal drugs and paraphernalia during a raid. The case also involved medical doctors who profited from Perry's addiction, highlighting the exploitation he faced. Iwamasa and Fleming are scheduled for sentencing later this month.
