Mobile Book Vans and Science Labs Bring Education to Remote Villages in Balochistan

Balochistan's education authorities, in partnership with UNICEF, have launched innovative mobile Book Vans and Science Rides to bridge the education gap in the province's remote villages. These units, transforming from basic mobile schools, now operate as moving libraries, interactive learning centers, and fully equipped science labs on wheels. Active across 14 districts, with the specialized Science Ride in Jaffarabad, the initiative brings educational resources directly to children's doorsteps. Spearheaded by UNICEF's Naqeeb Khilji, the program is sparking enthusiasm among students by promoting reading habits and hands-on scientific exploration. This effort is hailed as a practical step toward making quality education accessible and engaging in underdeveloped regions, nurturing curiosity and a love for learning.
