The 10 Best SNES Games to Play on Nintendo Switch Online

The Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) boasts an exceptional library of games, with 77 titles currently accessible through the Nintendo Switch Online service as part of Nintendo Classics. This offers subscribers a substantial collection of retro games to enjoy on their modern console. However, a significant drawback is the absence of many highly acclaimed third-party SNES titles from the service, such as the iconic role-playing games Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 6, and the popular fighting game Street Fighter 2 Turbo. This omission means that while a strong selection is available, many beloved and critically important games from the SNES era are not represented, potentially disappointing fans eager to revisit the full breadth of the console's legacy. This situation highlights the challenges of licensing and availability for classic games on subscription services.
