North West responds to claims that her style makes her look ‘demonic’

North West, the 13-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, has publicly responded to online criticism that her alternative fashion choices make her look “demonic.” During a TikTok livestream with her mother, North defended her personal style, asserting that her appearance, which includes bright blue hair, dark makeup, black grills, and facial piercings, does not reflect her Christian beliefs and explicitly stated, “Stop saying I’m demonic. No, I’m not.” Kim Kardashian supported her daughter, noting that the comments likely stem from North's grills and piercings, and reflected on the public's tendency to form quick, often inaccurate, opinions about public figures. North also clarified that her interest in alternative fashion predates her parents' divorce, having experimented with fake piercings from a young age, and highlighted her deliberate choice of an all-white, gothic Lolita outfit for her first headline performance as symbolic of her faith.
