Hina Javed murder: Domestic worker confesses to strangulation, torture and murder

During the investigation into the murder of Hina Javed in Rawalpindi, a domestic worker confessed to strangling and torturing her to death. The servant admitted that he and Faisal Asghar restrained Hina Javed after she attempted to flee during an argument between Hina and her husband, leading to her strangulation. The domestic worker also confessed to frequently committing theft in the house. The police were initially called to the residence by the victim's father-in-law, who reported a break-in, and upon arrival, Hina Javed's body was discovered in the bathroom, tied to a shower.
