All Pakistan Lawyers Action Committee meeting, declaration of resistance against conspiracy to divide Sindh

The All Pakistan Lawyers Action Committee, hosted by the Sind High Court Bar, convened to discuss a proposed rally in Peshawar, administrative matters, constitutional amendments, and other significant issues. Senior lawyer Ali Ahmed Kurd vowed resistance against any attempt to divide Sindh, emphasizing that the Indus River is a symbol of Sindh's unity and must be protected. He warned that the division of Sindh would lead to the permanent loss of the Indus River and asserted that lawyers would continue their struggle for Sindh's unity and constitutional rights. K.B. Laghari addressed the establishment, stating that if people take to the streets against Sindh's division, their bullets will run out before the people do. After the meeting, Karachi Bar Association President Amir Warraich spoke to the media, noting public disapproval of calls for new provinces and demanding immediate general elections and the rule of law and constitution.
