Schools, educational institutions reopen across Punjab after summer vacations

The break was lengthened due to intense heat and heatwave conditions across the province. The reopening has led to increased traffic congestion, prompting the deployment of traffic wardens to manage flow. The Punjab Education Department has mandated 100% attendance for staff and implemented cleanliness drives, including dengue prevention measures, to ensure a safe learning environment. This marks the return to routine academic activities after one of the longest summer breaks in recent years.
