Latest 'Spider-Man' tops American box office for fourth weekend

Spider-Man: Brand New Day led the North American box office for the fourth consecutive weekend, earning $39 million, a 45% drop from the previous week. The Marvel film, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, has grossed $854.9 million domestically and $1.37 billion internationally since its July 31 release. Insidious: Out of the Further opened in second place with $25.3 million. Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey slipped to third, bringing in $19.5 million, while Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie and The End of Oak Street rounded out the top five.
