Coke Studio Pakistan launches Nu.WAV as a new space for creative experimentation

Coke Studio Pakistan has launched Nu.WAV, a new music platform aimed at fostering greater creative freedom for artists, producers, and storytellers. This initiative, created by filmmaker Kamal Khan and announced on Instagram, deviates from the traditional Coke Studio format by encouraging experimentation across music, design, visual storytelling, and film, allowing creators to develop their own artistic worlds. Sami Wahid, Coke Studio General Manager, stated that Nu.WAV is a natural extension of Coke Studio's legacy, which has promoted Pakistani cultural identity globally for nearly two decades. The platform seeks to reflect how a new generation creates and shares music, with its inaugural edition featuring six songs and collaborations with diverse artists like Asim Azhar and Shae Gill, emphasizing cross-industry creative collaboration.
