Gold prices in the local market, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), rose for the third consecutive day on Saturday, with per tola gold increasing by Rs5,700 to Rs482,936. This follows significant increases of Rs5,200 on Friday and Rs13,700 on Thursday. Globally, gold per ounce rose by $57 to $4,604. While gold saw consistent gains, silver prices remained stable on Saturday after recent increases. This surge comes after a dip on Wednesday and steady prices earlier in the week, indicating a volatile yet upward trend in the precious metals market.
