Islamabad–Chitral Air Link to Resume with Five Weekly Flights

Regular air connectivity between Islamabad and Chitral is set to resume after a hiatus, with Bejaan Resorts and South Air forming a strategic partnership to operate five weekly flights. This initiative aims to reconnect Chitral by air, significantly boosting tourism, local businesses, employment, and sustainable economic activity in the region. Bejaan Resorts founder Anwar Aman emphasized that reliable air connectivity is crucial for establishing Chitral as a complete tourism destination, benefiting various local entities and communities. South Air CEO Nishat Fatima highlighted the airline's focus on improving connectivity to unique tourist destinations like Chitral. The partnership aligns with Bejaan Resorts' plans for a 104-room luxury resort in Chitral, designed with sustainability and local cultural identity in mind.
