All government TVET institutions in Balochistan have been placed under the administrative and operational control of B-TEVTA.

The Government of Balochistan has taken a significant step to modernize technical and vocational education and training (TVET) by consolidating all public TVET institutions under the administrative and operational control of the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (B-TEVTA). This decision, effective immediately, integrates institutions previously managed by various departments, including those under the Directorate of Manpower Training, Directorate of Training (Industries & Commerce Department), and Colleges, Higher & Technical Education Department (Polytechnic, Monotechnic Institutes, and Government Colleges of Technology). While B-TEVTA will oversee operational control, the Labor & Manpower Department will handle administrative matters such as establishment, service structure, and human resources. This restructuring aims to improve the standard of technical education in the province and streamline the management of TVET institutions.
