Intellectuals, writers, legal experts, journalists, and social leaders asserted that Sindh is and will remain one, viewing discussions about new provinces as a diversion from core issues. Speakers like Naseer Memon argued that in a debt-ridden and economically struggling nation, creating new provinces is ill-advised and potentially a move to install a 'dummy' prime minister, while also criticizing the Urdu media for its biased coverage of Sindh's problems. The conference emphasized direct action beyond speeches to counter such proposals and ensure justice.
