Repair work on an 18-inch diameter gas pipeline in the Bolan area is scheduled to begin tomorrow, following a six-day delay. The pipeline was destroyed by explosives on August 12, disrupting gas supply to Quetta, Mastung, Mach, Kalat, and surrounding regions, causing significant hardship for residents. Sui Southern Gas Company officials confirmed that repairs could not commence earlier due to a lack of security clearance from security agencies for the affected site. With security clearance now obtained, the repair work will start, and gas supply is expected to be restored upon completion.
