Thousands of families and visitors from across Sindh and the country flocked to the area to experience its lush scenery and monsoon charm, especially celebrating Independence Day on August 14th. This transformation has brought optimism and socio-economic activity to local residents, with villagers cultivating land and vast stretches of sand dunes becoming popular picnic spots. Key attractions like the Karoonjhar Mountains, Gadi Bhit in Mithi, Ghori Mandir, Bodesar Mosque, Naukot Fort, Sant Nenuram Ashram, Bhalwa village, and natural reservoirs like Pabohar and Rana Sar saw significant visitor influx, highlighting Tharparkar as a unique and picturesque destination in Pakistan.
