Two police officers were injured in firing by unidentified armed motorcyclists in the Qila Abdullah area, police said.

Two police officers, Khalil Ahmed and Noor Shah, were injured in a firing incident in the Killa Abdullah area on Friday. Unidentified armed motorcyclists opened fire on the officers in the vicinity of the Toa Adda police station and then fled the scene. Police immediately transported the wounded officers to the hospital for treatment. Law enforcement has subsequently cordoned off the area and initiated a search operation to apprehend the perpetrators. The motive behind the attack remains unknown.
