Father-son duo involving in killings of Lahore cops shot dead in encounter

Two suspects, identified as a father-son duo named Rehan Butt and Fayyaz Butt, were killed in an alleged police encounter after being accused of murdering three police personnel in Lahore, Pakistan. The suspects were involved in separate firing incidents in Badami Bagh and Nawan Kot, which resulted in the deaths of Sub-Inspector Adeel, Head Constable Asad, and police official Haris, along with injuries to three other personnel. After fleeing in a government vehicle and taking hostages in a house in Sheikhupura, the duo opened fire on a police team attempting an arrest, leading to an exchange of fire that killed both suspects. Police are currently searching for a third suspect linked to these incidents.
