Freedom train chugs off from Karachi for Thar

A special 'Freedom Train,' adorned with Sindh's cultural colors and traditions, departed from Karachi Cantt Station for Thar on Thursday. This train, a special iteration of the Desert Safari Train, was flagged off by Sindh Culture and Tourism Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, with Pakistan Railways officials also in attendance. Its purpose is to participate in Independence Day celebrations at various Thar locations, including Zero Point, on August 14, before returning to Karachi on Friday evening. This initiative aims to celebrate Pakistan's Independence Day with a unique cultural journey through the desert region.
