The Sindh Students Action Committee, along with various student organizations, held an All Parties Students Conference in Hyderabad, Pakistan, following 19 days of protest against the violation of merit in the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC). Student leaders criticized the Sindh government's policies, alleging that jobs in SPSC and other institutions are being sold or given through nepotism. They announced a province-wide awareness campaign, seminars, and intellectual gatherings, threatening a 'historic long march' from Ghotki to Karachi, culminating at the Chief Minister and Governor Houses, if their demands are not met. The movement aims to protect the future of current and upcoming generations by ensuring merit-based job appointments and reforming the entire system, not just the SPSC.
