Punjab class 5 board exams registration opens this month

The Punjab government has announced that Grade 5 board exams will now be conducted by the Punjab Education Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA), expanding the assessment system beyond Grade 8. Registration for the Grade 5 Annual Assessment 2026-27 will take place via the IBS system from June 25, 2026, to August 8, 2026. Public schools are mandated to complete student registration accurately, including personal details, dates of birth, recent photos, and information on examination centers and banks. This initiative aims to enhance the organization, transparency, and effectiveness of the examination system for better evaluation of student academic performance, with District Education Officers ensuring timely completion of all necessary arrangements.
